The truth is that everyone’s a little nervous at first, but it is incredible how fast you will become comfortable with us. We always start with headshots, and you will see how much fun we are to work with right away. We promise you will have a good time, and by the end of your boudoir session, you’ll feel amazing! We will guide you every step of the way! Bring a girlfriend with you!
Will you post my boudoir photographs on the Internet?
As much as we would love to share your beautiful boudoir portraits on our website, we will only do so if you consent with written permission. Otherwise, those fantastic photos are for your eyes only. We take confidentiality and your privacy seriously, and images are secure on our encrypted server by a strong password we share only with you.
Do I need to be nude?
Absolutely not! Boudoir is sensual, and it doesn't need to be nude or overly revealing. In fact, I think the best images are those that leave things to the imagination! Nudity is optional and always will be.
What about hair and makeup for my portrait session?
We strongly recommend you have your hair and make-up professionally styled for your boudoir portrait session. We often have this service available at the studio, as we have a large area designed specifically for this. However, you can also choose to have them done elsewhere or bring your own stylist and use our facility. Please come with day-old hair, as freshly washed or wet hair is challenging to style. You will pay the hair and makeup artist directly, as we do not include their fees in our package pricing.
Can I buy other stuff not listed in the package?
We offer a complete catalog of products. With several sizes and mediums, from metals to framed prints, we also shoot corporate headshots, high-school seniors, etc. These can be added to your session at a 20% discount because you already have a purchased package, and we consider these items add-ons.
I have imperfections! Can you make me look good anyway?
None of us has a perfect body, and even the most famous actresses and supermodels get edited to perfection. We will guide, light, and pose you in a way that is flattering for you. We also enhance your boudoir images with the best editing tools if you have issues with stretch marks or other minor problems. We will work with you to make you feel good about the real you. How do I view photos from my session?
Give us a few days, and we will send you a gallery to select images to complete the package you have chosen. You can see examples of the various books, prints, and other options when we meet before your session. You will also have access to all of your finished images in our client area of this website, so you can order additional prints or download digital images.
How long does it take to receive my boudoir portrait order?
Once your favorite photos from your boudoir session are selected, prints, books, and other options will be delivered within a few weeks. Digital products will be available for download as soon as the retouching of your selections is finalized.
What should I bring to my boudoir photography session?
We suggest that you bring a couple of pairs of cute panties and also a supportive push-up bra. Also, feel free to bring some items you may be interested in wearing for the shoot. Things such as lingerie, your guy's favorite sports jersey, maybe his work uniform or his dress shirt and tie, and several fun items to bring. Wearing his items in sexy ways will leave him thinking about you all day long when he wears them! We can talk more about wardrobe and personalizing your boudoir session during your pre-session consultation.
Do you shoot only natural light?
Nope, we find that it is too limiting! We use a lot of studio lighting because we enjoy a wide variety of images. We can go from light and airy to dark and moody in the same session by changing our lighting. You will not find another photographer in the area with the depth of knowledge we have regarding lighting. That also means we can do your session in the evenings in our spacious 4,000sq/ft studio without worrying about the season or time of day.
Do you do Milk Baths?
Yes, we do offer a milk bath as an addon for any of our session packages. We will also let you in on the little secret that we don't use milk for several reasons, including the simple fact that it's kind of gross. :-)
